  5. Entry Conditions and Prohibited Items
Attendees must follow posted and announced rules, security directions, and any venue policies. Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, and any item deemed unsafe by security. Service animals are permitted as defined by applicable law. By entering the venue you acknowledge live streaming and recording are in progress and that Section 13 applies.

  6. Minors
Attendees under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The supervising adult accepts responsibility for the minor’s conduct and safety at the Event.

  7. Health and Safety
Attendees must comply with all health, safety, and emergency instructions from staff, venue staff, and volunteers. Unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.

You are responsible for your belongings. Canadian Ski Patrol - Greater Vancouver Zone and the venue are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, including items left in vehicles.

  9. Rail Jam Participation
Spectating the Rail Jam is covered by these terms. Participation as a competitor requires separate registration and execution of a Rail Jam Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity Agreement handled elsewhere. No waiver, no participation.

  10. Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event, including observing demonstrations and navigating crowded areas, involves inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and release Canadian Ski Patrol - Greater Vancouver Zone, its volunteers, and the venue from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with the Event, subject to applicable law. This does not waive liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  11. Photography, Video, Live Streaming, and Recordings
Canadian Ski Patrol - Greater Vancouver Zone and its authorized partners may photograph, film, live stream, and otherwise record the Event. By attending, you grant the organizer a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, broadcast, publicly display, distribute, adapt, and publish your image, likeness, and voice captured at or around the Event in any media now known or later developed including social channels, the Event website, promotional materials, news coverage and sponsor content without further notice or compensation, to the extent permitted by law. If you prefer not to be filmed or photographed, notify onsite staff; best efforts will be made to accommodate reasonable requests, but complete avoidance in public areas and during live streaming cannot be guaranteed. Minors’ attendance constitutes the supervising adult’s consent on the minor’s behalf.

  12. Exhibitors, Vendors, and Consignment
Purchases from exhibitors or the public consignment sale are transactions with those sellers, not the Canadian Ski Patrol - Greater Vancouver Zone. Product availability, condition, fitting, and warranties are the responsibility of the seller. Separate consignment terms apply to members of the public selling gear; those terms are provided at gear check-in and govern consignor rights and obligations.
